Pennsylvania Covered Bridge Photo Excursion
2024 PENNSYLVANIA COVERED BRIDGE PHOTO EXCURSION

OCTOBER 14-17 (3 NIGHTS)
Accommodation – Hometown Studios & Suites by Red Roof
2110 N. Franklin Drive, Washington, PA
Cost- $125.00 per person double occupancy for 3 nights
- $250 per person single occupancy for 3 nights
- Deposit of $25.00 per person due ASAP
- Final payment due by 9-15-2024
- Please advise if you want a single room or who you are rooming with.
Included in the cost is a pizza night.
Not included in cost-transportation costs to and from *carpooling is highly recommended.
-meals and food other than the pizza party
-anything of a personal nature
Rough Itinerary
10/14/2024
-meet for breakfast and then proceed to Welcome Center in Pennsylvania
-do a short excursion to some of the local area to scope some bridges etc.
-head to hotel for check in -dinner is on your own
10/15/2024
-meet for breakfast 0800 place TBA.
-head out for photography (if people want to take a break before dusk that is fine) (some people may want to shoot at dusk)
-end of day head back to hotel, freshen up and we will gather for dinner at a local eatery to review our day (cost is on your own)

Itinerary note: This itinerary is not set in stone. These types of events need flexibility based on weather, timing and what people want to do. There will be people who want to shoot at sunup and dusk which is completely understandable and encouraged. I have been to this area before. I have drawn out three different routes may want to follow. The roads are very narrow, and signage is minimal. Please use your GPS. I will try to provide maps to everyone.
On a personal note. I am not an expert photographer or bridge expert. Some bridges will be picturesque and some not so much. I put this trip together so as fellow photographers and friends we can enjoy the experience together.
